Psychogeriatric Resource Consultants
Psychogeriatric Resource Consultants (PRC) are strategically located in community mental health centres, geriatric facilities and Alzheimer Society chapter offices across the province. Their primary role is to educate, advise and support staff in long term care homes, community care access centres and other health care settings in the application and interpretation of assessment tools for care planning and treatment for persons with cognitive/mental health needs and associated behavioural issues.
